Course Description
This is a course on caring for super-curly African hair, as well as cornrows, braid extensions, and dreadlocks for all hair textures from all ethnicities, from straight to super-curly. It covers the basics all the way to specific complex styles. You'll be taken step by step through cornrowing, from how to make one through various patterns. You'll learn to make and care for natural dreadlocks, and how to wash them properly. Then we'll cover adding hair to get the look you want in a short time through extensions and hairweaves. This is good information for aspiring braid artists and "loctitians" as well as new parents of children of African descent. So join up, and learn something new, or refresh your skills in an environment where you're free to ask questions. I have over 20 years of experience working on hair of just about all types in the world, and I hope in this class, to pass on this wonderful traditional art.
